Roads and roads funding will be the topic of a Jan. 15 town hall meeting at Hanna Center, hosted by First District Supervisor Susan Gorin. Representatives from Sonoma County Transportation and Public Works will be on hand to answer questions
The Meeting will include a brief overview of roads, roads types, pavement preservation and corrective maintenance, how and why we prioritize roads, funding sources and funding challenges, as well as a discussion of long-term funding strategies for addressing roads needs.
“This will be an opportunity … to learn about roads funding, how we prioritize roads, and to get questions answered,” Gorin stated in the press release.
