SDC Specific Plan Virtual Community Workshop #1

A reminder from the SDC specific Plan Planing Advisory Team:

Please join the Permit Sonoma Saturday, November 14th, from 9:30-11:00 AM for the first of five planned community workshops for the Sonoma Developmental Center Specific Plan! This workshop was postponed due to fires, and we hope that everyone will be able to attend the new date.

What to Expect: The workshop will consist of a brief presentation about big takeaways from the Background Report and small group discussions responding to proposed guiding principles and brainstorming a vision for the Sonoma Developmental Center site.

Community Engagement Reports: Thank you to those of you who have engaged so far with the Specific Plan! You can take a look at reports on outreach to date and read the Background Report – including sections on open space, infrastructure, historic preservation, and market conditions – on the project website: www.sdcspecificplan.com

Special Thanks to the Jack London Yacht Club!

JLYC chose The Glen Ellen Forum as one of its 2020 Grant Award recipients. Our award this year is designated to fund new holiday garland for the Glen Ellen Bridge. Mary Gurrazzi accepted the award on behalf of the GE Forum. Look forward to new beautiful bridge decorations this December.
